Experience & Credentials
Anson’s recent notable experience includes:
- Advised and acted for a company to restructure its financial obligations in excess of RM1.9 billion by way of corporate voluntary arrangement, which was approved by the majority shareholders and creditors.
- Advised and acted for a financially distressed company to restructure its financial obligations of approximately RM185 million by way of judicial management.
- Advised and acted for a shareholder in defending an action premised on the allegations of fraud, fabrication of evidence and the alleged existence of an oral agreement.
- Advised and acted for a public listed company in undertaking a corporate exercise involving shares exchange and transfer of listing status by way of scheme of arrangement.
- Advised and successfully opposed a winding up petition premised on the allegation of dissipation of assets.
Qualifications
Anson is a graduate from the University of the West of England, United Kingdom. He was admitted as an advocate & solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2016.
